| LITTLE FREDDIE MEETS "HONEY BOY" EDWARDS |
We just returned from Portalegre (meaning "Happy Harbor"- there wasn't a body of water to be seen), Portugal where we performed at the "Sons of Mundo Blues Festival"- produced by our friend Paulo Furtado (www.legendarytigerman.com). Great people and excellent host. On the show was the walking legend of the Delta Blues, David "Honeyboy" Edwards - still cutting a rug at 92-years old - that's right dude - 92!! Freddie went back stage after seeing the HB performance to introduce himself. It was a "blues moment" for two unapprecated icons. They shook hands and HB said "Man, I'm tried - I gotta give this shit up". Freddie told him what he needed was a little Corn Liquor to straighten him out. Man, that started the conversation rolling about how they use to help their daddy make, taste and bottle the stuff... it lasted a long time. Dude and Dudets, all the way to Portugal to talk about "Booze". submitted by "Wacko" Wade, drummer

Just a little message because I want the world to know that this band is GREAT, GREAT, GREAT !!!
Little Freddie KING and his musicians can make you feel good and happy if you're tired, alone and sad.
No need to see a doctor ... just a Little Freddie KING album and life seems better.
That's true, that's what I've already felt !
Wade, keep on the good work,
I'm just looking for meeting you and the band.
Best regards,

Nice of you to take a minute and email da King.
Would love to come to the Beautiful country of
Spain and ride in those cars you show on your
website. You can leave the chicks in them - we
can cruise the Coast and play "At the Hop" by Danny
and the Juniors. One day we may get Blues Cazola
and you can come and drink a few with the band.
Take Care Dude - Great website you have.
